Quahogging

The following images are from the "Barrington Beach Opening" that took place in 1982 and again in 1985, where thousands of quahoggers converged on a small body of water in Narragansett Bay, Rhode Island.  This area had not been worked for over twenty years because of the drainage runoff that polluted the waters in and around the mouth of the Providence River.  This historic event is featured heavily in our book, Swim That Rock.
